On Saturday, March 5, 2022, around 7:00 am, according to the Florida Highway Patrol, an Orlando lady was murdered, and two others were sent to the hospital, one of whom was a tiny child, when her car was hit by an SUV that ran a red light. At the intersection of Old Winter Garden and Edgewood Ranch roads, there was a collision. The 58-year-old Orlando lady was driving north on Edgewood Ranch Road when her automobile was struck on the left side by the front of an SUV headed east on Old Winter Garden Road. The SUV’s driver, a 26-year-old Ocoee woman, and a little kid in the car with her were both brought to Advent Health South with minor injuries. According to the announcement, the Orlando lady was declared deceased at the scene, and charges against the Ocoee woman are pending. The collision is still being investigated, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
